One of the U.S.' fastest growing jet charter companies has added The Bahamas to its itinerary as it expands its non-stop service to popular Caribbean locations this holiday season.
Passengers on JetSuite can now fly non-stop from the east coast to Nassau, Eleuthera, St. Maarten, Anguilla and Turks and Caicos on the JetSuite Edition Citation CJ3 aircraft.
JetSuite's CEO Alex Wilcox said the company's decision to add these new routes solidifies its position in New York, the busiest jet charter market in the world.
"The decision was made to travel to the Caribbean was based on the demands of our customers," he told Guardian Business.
"Our mission revolves around making private air travel accessible to more people than ever before, and offering an unprecedented level of transparency."
"Expanding our service to the Caribbean solidifies our position in New York, the busiest jet charter market in the world."
These six-passenger aircrafts can fly up to 2,000 miles, and offer free onboard Wi-Fi, increased interior comfort and speeds up to 480 miles per hour.
Since starting its over water service a couple months ago, Wilcox confirmed that JetSuite is doing at least one flight daily. But in the coming months, he is expecting those numbers to double, or even triple.
"Given the current weather that we're enduring in the northern part of the country, I think we will have a very busy winter as people come to The Bahamas for some sunshine," Wilcox said.
"We had a lot of Thanksgiving traffic into the islands, some from New York and some from Florida."
Meantime, JetSuite is the first private aviation company to guarantee an online quote and has introduced a number of enhancements to its JetSuite.com website that will make booking holiday travel easier.
