Paint Suppliers, exclusive distributor for Devoe Paint and Ralph Lauren Paint in Nassau, held a presentation on “Decorating 101” this week. Director of Colour Marketing at the manufacturers’ US headquarters, Barbara Richardson and team member Melinda Gray, were in Nassau to share their expertise with the Company’s customers and the public. The dynamic team thrilled the audience of over 250 people packed into the Ballroom at the British Colonial Hilton Hotel as they explained how customers can combine and coordinate colours themselves to create a breathtaking space in their own homes. They also showcased some amazing faux technique paint samples using Ralph Lauren Specialty Finishes like Regent Metallic’s, Suede, River Rock and Candlelight. The next day, the team held a workshop at the store on Shirley Street, showcasing beautiful finishes and demonstrating the use of paint in some fun ways, like on canvases and cushions as decorative accents.
Nelson Cates, Managing Director of Paint Suppliers, said, “This is our fourth year hosting this event. It just keeps getting bigger and better each year. Barbara and Melinda have such a wealth of knowledge and experience to share. Our customers are delighted to see what can be done with paint, how easy it is use and what a transformation can take place in their homes. So many people love how colour looks in other homes when they see it, but are afraid to try it in their own homes. This presentation is equipping them with the information and confidence that they need to beautify their personal space.”
