NASSAU, Bahamas -- The public is invited to a sneak peek of the new $83.5 million LPIA Domestic and International Terminal this Saturday, October 19.
The event that starts at noon and runs until 4 pm is free and features live entertainment.
The massive, sophisticated 105,000 square foot terminal, which is the third and final phase of the $409.5 million redevelopment of the nation's largest and busiest airport, is scheduled to go live soon and will house domestic airlines serving the Family Islands and international carriers including those serving the United Kingdom, the Far East, Canada and other destinations.
It is adjacent to the U.S. departures terminal and like that terminal, features Bahamian art.
The Nassau Airport Development Company (NAD) and sponsors host Saturday's open house.
