Nassau, Bahamas - This past week the Free National Movement government
introduced two Bills in the House of Assembly affecting the Bahamas Electricity
Corporation. The FNM government was led in the debate by Ministers Earl
Deveaux, Zhivargo Laing and Phenton Neymour who continued unashamedly to blame
the Christie administration for the present state of BEC after the FNM government
has been in office for almost three and
a half years. 

This past Wednesday and Thursday none of the three mentioned
Ministers informed the parliament of the Bahamas that BEC was experiencing
