SkyBahamas Airlines has announced plans to offer significant airfare reductions for Grand Bahama residents and visitors traveling between Freeport and Ft. Lauderdale.

According to the company's CEO/President, Captain Randy Butler the company's Directors made a decision to reduce air travel during the month of August to Two Hundred and Ninety Nine Dollars ($299.00) to facilitate the "hassle free" travel of passengers between the two destinations.

In spite of recently announced additional taxations being imposed by the government on local and domestic carriers, Captain Butler insists that the company's response will still be to continue it's legacy of putting people before profits, and heralded that this "airfare drop is a continued demonstration of the airline's appreciation and commitment to the people of Grand Bahama..."
