General situation:

An old surface trough over the Northwest Bahamas along with a tropical wave, remnants of Dorian approaching the Turks and Caicos Islands and the Southeast Bahamas, will usher in showers and thunderstorms over the islands.    

Special warnings:

Remnants of Dorian will bring squally showers and gusty winds to near gale force to the Turks and Caicos Islands and the Southeast Bahamas today as it moves westwards.

Thunderstorms may be severe at times causing dangerous lightning, heavy downpours, localized flooding in low lying areas and possible waterspout or tornadic activity...
