The National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, is bracing itself for an "active or extremely active" 2013 Atlantic Hurricane Season, as predicted by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, NOAA.

 The National Disaster Committee held its monthly meeting Friday, May 31st at NEMA's office, during which representatives of the Emergency Support Function groups reported on the state of readiness of their specific areas.
