Our latest winner is
Latoya Pedican of Grand Bahama Island who entered a photo of her late
father-in-law, whom she never had the opportunity to meet due to his
ill-fated and mysterious death in Grand Bahama 6 years ago.  Latoya
wrote in for The Celebrity Artist portrait giveaway contest on
TheBahamasWeekly.com saying,

"My husband's father lost his life
in November 2007 when he was kidnapped from his job at Eight Mile Rock
High School and then murdered. I recall the day when my husband (Vincent
Charles Pedican) called devastated because the last voice message from
his father was deleted from his phone. It was all he had left...his
voice."
