Verdict expected today in murder case

Aâ jury is expected to deliver a verdict today in the case of a man accused of the murder of his former girlfriend.
Angelo Poitier is on trial for the murder of Shenise Adderley, whose body was found in a grave in the Bahamas Veteran's Cemetery on Infant View Road on May 27, 2009.
According to an autopsy report, Adderley died from injuries caused by blunt force trauma to the body.
Poitier did not take the witness stand nor did he call witnesses in his defense.
Instead, Poitier made an unsworn statement from the prisoner's dock.
Poitier claimed that he was at home when police came to his home inquiring about Adderley...
