--- The adoption and implementation of the proposed National Strategic
Plan for Public and Private Medical Laboratories within The Bahamas will
not only "streamline lab operations" at the various public and private
facilities within the Commonwealth, but can also lead to international
accreditation, health experts say. 

Minister
of Health, Dr. the Hon. Perry Gomez was presented with the Draft
Proposal Monday by Dr. Indira Martin, Task Force Chair and head of the
HIV/AIDS Laboratory, who was accompanied by other members of the Task
Force.
