After finishing as the runners-up last year, coach Pastor Dave Adams felt his Teleos Cherubims had what it took to win the senior girls title in the third annual Tom "The Bird" Grant Invitational High School Volleyball Tournament.

On Saturday at the Kendal Isaacs Gymnasium, the Cherubims did exactly that as they pulled off a 25-15, 25-18 decision over the Mt Carmel Cavaliers to join the Kingsway Academy Saints, who carted off the senior boys crown with a 25-12 and 25-20 win over the CV Bethel Stingrays.
