Nassau, Bahamas - Mrs.
Laverne Nixon, President of the Sunshine Pilot Club of Nassau, paid a
courtesy call on the Honourable Jerome Fitzgerald, Minister of
Education, Science and Technology on 15th November, 2012 to discuss how
the club plans to partner with the Ministry in enhancing the educational
experiences of special needs students. She was accompanied by several
board members, including the President Elect, Mrs. Wachenella Mortimer.

Mrs.
Nixon explained that this year, the club decided to adopt a school and
hence, has partnered with the government-operated Palmdale Primary
