Sandals Foundation And Golf Association Of Ontario Host Children Of Exuma To Golf Clinic

Volunteers from The Golf Association of Ontario and the Golf Team at Sandals Emerald BayEmerald Bay, Exuma -- The Sandals Foundation, in partnership with volunteers from The Golf Association of Ontario  ran a "Future Champions Golf Clinic" for children of  the Nelson Ranger Golf Program at Sandals Emerald Bay in Great Exuma. Local children from the island joined head professional Kevin Mumford for a fanatic morning of golf.

The GAO also donated clubs, birdie balls, gift bags, tee shirts and hats to the Nelson  Ranger Golf Program.    Sandals Emerald Bay hosts the Nelson Ranger program twice a month.  More than 30 young Exumians participate in this program.

"Golf is a big part of the community programs that we are involved with," said Sandals Foundation Director of Programs Heidi Clarke. "The equipment donated by the Golf Association of Ontario will certainly contribute to making this program a success."
