Award-winning Bahamian American Engineer To Visit Nassau

Thursday, August 30th Question & Answer TONIGHT at 7pm at Ministry of Youth Sports and Culture conference room (ground floor). August 29th, 2012 - Aisha Bowe, an award-winning Bahamian-American researcher in the Flight Trajectory Dynamics & Controls Branch of the Aviation Systems Division at NASA Ames Research Center will be visiting Nassau, Bahamas as a guest of her grandfather Mr. Forester Bowe.

She will be conducting interviews and discussions on the importance of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). These discussions will shed light on the importance of STEM for the Bahamas and the greater Caribbean sub region. Earlier this year Ms. Bowe led an effort to bring a College of the Bahamas student, Mr. Terran Arnold on a 8-week internship at NASA Ames. She hopes to engage ...
