Catholic Church employees robbed outside cathedral

A gunman held up two employees of the Archdiocese of Nassau(Roman Catholic)just outside the gates of St. Francis Xavier Cathedral on Tuesday-the first of six armed robberies reported on that day.
Archbishop Patrick Pinder toldThe Nassau Guardianyesterday that the two victims are employed with the Archdiocesan Pastoral Center, commonly known as the Chancery Office, which oversees all Catholic churches.
The incident reportedly left them and other employees traumatized.
According to police reports, the robbery took place around 8:36 a.m. that day.
