The Progressive Young Liberals strongly believes that the 100 day mandate set by the current PLP administration exceeded expectations and is a clear indication of the government's focus and effectiveness. As the Christie led government fulfilled its agenda for the first 100 days and introduced additional initiatives it is clear that this is an administration focused on pertitent issues and investing in Bahamians.

Despite the fact that the former administration left the country in worse economic state than was expected, nearly all of the 100 day promises were met. Particular emphasis was placed on Project Safe Bahamas, the reintroduction of Urban Renewal and the establishment of the Ministry of Grand Bahama, which is the first of its kind.

On May 7th, The Bahamas entered a new day of effective governance and visionary leadership when the Christie led administration was elected to office. Ready to govern on DAY ONE, this PLP administration promised through its written political agenda 'Charter for Governance' to take on the nations most vexing problems. These included the high levels of crime, joblessness, and the dreary state of the economy.

The Progressive Young Liberals would like to publically commend the government for the successful conclusion of it's first 100 days and encourage the government to continue to work diligently and efficiently in fulfilling the promises made to the Bahamian people in the 'Charter for Governance'.
