Ministry of works & Urban Development Morning Radio Traffic Report Wednesday 22nd August 2012

The Ministry of works and urban development wishes to advise motorists of the following

Old Trail Road on prince Charles drive has been closed in an effort to complete underground and paving works before the start of the school period. Motorists are asked to use grace avenue and st. Michael's Road as alternate routes.

On Saturday the 25th, Market street, between Ross Corner and Brougham street, will be closed in order to apply the final layer of asphalt. Motorists should follow the diversion signs. This closure is expected to last for one day

The Marathon road/wulff road roundabout remains closed to vehicular traffic in order to complete paving works. Motorists are asked to use Claridge Road and Mackey street as alternative routes. It is expected that the roundabout will be open to vehicular traffic early next week.

Keep Road near Wulff Road remains closed to vehicular traffic. Motorists are asked to follow the posted diversion signs. This junction is also expected to be open to vehicular traffic early next week.

Bernard road near the village road roundabout is closed so that scheduled works can be performed. Motorists are asked to use Thompson street as an alternate route.

Soldier Road south near Prince Charles Drive is closed in order to complete roadway infrastructure work. Drivers should follow the posted diversion signs.
