The Progressive Liberal Party yesterday continued its attack on the government, accusing it of breaking the law by allegedly failing to conduct salary reviews for judges as is required by the Judges Remuneration and Pensions Act.
"The prime minister is yet to lay before the House of Assembly for its approval the report of the(Judicial Review Commission)that is alleged to have enquired into the adequacy of the salaries, allowances and pension and the adequacy of judge's benefits generally,"the PLP said in a statement released on Wednesday.
The PLP called on Attorney General John Delaney to advise the government to obey the law.
