Paradise Island,
Bahamas  - - The afternoon of Friday, May 25, 2012, 400 children will
pack the Atlantis Theatre at the Atlantis, Paradise Island resort, in
the Bahamas to enjoy an interactive stage show featuring a huge quirky
owl primed to teach them about severe weather science and safety. The
owl, aptly named Owlie Skywarn, is the mascot of the Young Meteorologist
Program (YMP), a free computer game and national campaign to educate
children in grades K-8.

"We are
thrilled to bring the YMP computer game and its hero, Owlie, to life in
the exquisite Atlantis Theatre. Owlie's message to 'Prepare and
Survive' for severe weather informs children and families using a
platform that is bold, fun, and empowering," says PLAN!T NOW President
and Co-founder, Donna Lee.
