Ronald Bostfield FNM Free National Movement



Mr Ronald Bosfield was born at Mangrove Cay, Andros, the son of Lorene Greene and Neville E. Bosfield Sr. He was educated in government-operated schools in Mangrove Cay and New Providence. After completing studies leading to a teacher’s certificate from The Bahamas Teacher’s College in 1974, he worked in The Bahamas’ public school system until 1984.  Mr. Bosfield pursued a bachelor’s degree in economics at Queen’s University in Canada and later earned a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Miami in 1987.  He spent the following ten years in the financial services sector, and in 1997 was elected to the House of Assembly as the FNM MP for South Andros.  Click here to read more of Ronald's biography.


Picewell Forbes PLP Progressive Liberal Party

 





 Mr. Picewell “Soca” Forbes was born on August 1, 1961 in Smith’s Hill, South Andros.He is married to the former Drucilla Wallace and they are the parents of four children, Demathio, Picella, Paige and Ramon. Mr. Forbes is a member of the Church of God Church community. His interests include softball, baseball, cricket and traveling.    In 2007, Mr. Forbes was elected as the Member of Parliament for the South Andros Constituency.   Mr. Forbes is a founding member and the Assistant Treasurer of the Bahamas Press Club. He is the former President, Public Relations for the All Andros Association and former Secretary of Men’s Fellowship Group of the Church of God Cathedral, along with other leadership roles. He has been recognized by the Toastmasters (First Bahamas Branch) with the Community Award, the Bahamas Division of Toastmasters with the Cultural Award, Kiwanis Club of East Nassau with the Leadership Achievement Award, Staniel Cay Community with the Achievement Award, South Andros High School with the Award for Leadership and Community Development and is an Honorary Citizen of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.    Mr. Forbes has been a member of the broadcasting community for a number of years and has served in various capacities within the broadcasting field including Announcer, Deputy Director, Radio Programming & Production, Acting Assistant General Manager, Radio and most recently as Deputy General Manager, Radio Programming & Production.

Wayde Forbes DNA Democratic National Alliance

 



Wayde Forbes-Ferguson was born on June 27th 1963 at Princess Margret Hospital to his parents Patsy Mae Forbes and Amos Ferguson, although he was raised by his grand mother, Leta Forbes, for most of his early years.  Forbes-Ferguson later matriculated to the College of The Bahamas in 1989 and attained an Associates degree in Electronics Technology. Thereafter, he joined the Bahamas Telecommunications Corporation (BTC) staff as a cable technician until 1998. Since leaving BTC, Forbes-Ferguson launched several self-employing ventures, including a career in the commercial fishing industry until 2004. Presently, Forbes-Ferguson has a heavy equipment construction and a sheep farm.Forbes-Ferguson is married to Deborah L. Forbes-Ferguson with three sons, T. J, Javaro and Shaka. The couple has one grand son, T.J. II.
