Freeport,
Bahamas - The Public Hospitals Authority (PHA) is pleased to remind the
public that the new Operating Theatre Suites at the Rand Memorial
Hospital in Freeport, Grand Bahama are now operational. Services
commenced in the new OR Unit on March 26, this year.

The new and
improved Theatre facilities include: 2 Class C Operating Theatres; 1
Class B Minor Procedure/Endoscopy Theatre and 1 Induction Room. The
Operating Theatres at Rand Memorial Hospital have a capacity of 3 major
cases per day in each suite and are treating an average of 35 - 38 cases
per week...
