Baha Mar gives no1.5m commitment to training

Proposed training for thousands of local construction workers has likely hit its biggest snag yet, with the$1.5 million needed to fund the project not being guaranteed by Baha Mar, the Bahamian Contractors Association(BCA)revealed yesterday.
While officials at the$2.6 billion Cable Beach development are receptive to the short and long-term success of the project, said a report from the BCA, there is presently no funding allocated for any training of construction personnel.
