OPPOSITION spokesman on foreign affairs Fred Mitchell lashed out at Deputy Prime Minister Brent Symonette yesterday, calling his recent comments on the creation of the ministry's website "beyond stupid".

Mr Mitchell said the comments "convey ineptitude" on the part of Mr Symonette that is "beyond belief".

"The question of how the website was established is irrelevant to the issue that is before him as minister. The fact is on his watch, he allowed the information which is proprietary to the Bahamas government on mfabahamas.org to be lost and he does not have an answer for it," he said.
