Michael E. Lightbourn of Treasure Cay, Abaco, The Bahamas and formally of Nassau, The Bahamas passed away February 6th, 2012 succumbing to advanced lung cancer.
He is survived by his wife Elouise Lightbourn, son Edward and his wife Sara, daughter Katherine and her husband Stephen Russell; his grandchildren Celena and William Russell and Claire and Miles Lightbourn.
Michael was born on January 29, 1927 and originally trained as an optometrist in Toronto and Chicago during the end of World War II.
