Wed, Feb 1st 2012, 09:17 AM

A jury is expected to return a verdict today in the case of Cyril Lockhart, who is accused of the murder of his brother.
Prosecutors allege that Lockhart stabbed his brother, Luigi Lockhart, during a fight at his apartment on Blenheim Road in Stapledon Gardens on February 14, 2011.
According to the evidence, the fight began after Luigi tried to take Cyril's dog.
In his closing address yesterday, defense lawyer Geoffrey Farquharson said that Lockhart acted in self defense and urged the jury to acquit him.
On the other hand, prosecutor Terry Archer said Lockhart acted without justification and should be convicted of murder.
Senior Justice Jon Isaacs will turn the case over to the jury after delivering his summation.
Lockhart is on bail.
