Self-Starter wins airport contract

A BAHAMIAN-owned company formed through a grant from the Government's Self-Starter Program has won its first major contract at Lynden Pindling International Airport (LPIA), marking out aircraft taxiways and aprons on newly-laid tarmac.

Having already marked the first phase of a car park for New Providence Development Company, Bahamas Striping has been hired by Florida-based Ranger Construction Industries and sub-contractor Better Barricades, to complete their paving of the runway/taxiways at the new US departures terminal.
