FREEPORT: Race for the Cure was reason enough for The Grand Bahama Port Authority to take their commitment of sponsorship to another level.

In addition to making a financial contribution, GBPA has sponsored three relay teams to compete in the Bahamas Marathon Sunshine Insurance 2012: Susan G Komen Bahamas Race for the Cure Weekend, in the Sunday Marathon event in Nassau.

"Our participation is about finding the cure, and I am sure that being a part of such an event will bring a renewed sense of hope and determined spirit to end breast cancer," said GBPA vice-president, Ginger Moxey.
