The only way people will be able to see Jesus'face is if they set their priorities on the church, and place God in the forefront of their lives was the message to parishioners at St. Peter's Parish, North Long Island, as their new rector, Fr. Chester Burton, preached and celebrated his first service with his new posting. And he assured them that there are no shortcuts to seeing Jesus'face.
Fr. Burton took his sermon text from Hebrews chapter 12 verse 1 which states:"Let us run with perseverance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus the pioneer and perfector of our faith . . ."
