CONVICTED child rapist Andrew Bridgewater is back in police custody after allegedly attempting to rape a woman and abduct two primary school students.
Police have confirmed Bridgewater was arrested around 3pm yesterday at his residence on Marshall Road, after a two-week man hunt.
He is being held at the Carmichael Road Police Station in connection with attempted rape, robbery and abduction.
According to well-placed police sources, Bridgewater allegedly attempted to kidnap a male and female student from Carmichael Primary School two weeks ago.
