POLICE are questioning two men in connection with the break-in and theft of jewellery from a store in Palmdale.

The men, aged 28 and 32, were found in possession of a large quantity of jewellery suspected to have been stolen shortly before 6pm Saturday.

The glass door at the rear of Michael Anthony Jewellers was broken and about $150,000 worth of jewellery was stolen sometime between Friday night and Saturday morning.

The reported the burglary around 10am Saturday.
