THE Ministry of Education is making changes to the face of school leadership in Grand Bahama.
Five public schools on the island will be receiving new principals this academic year, according Education Minister Desmond Bannister.
With three principals to be transferred and two vice-principals promoted, Mr Bannister stressed the changes were not a response to negative behaviour.
He said: "We wanted to make some changes to Grand Bahama, as we were doing throughout the country, to improve instruction and continue to upgrade the performance of our students."
