A FORENSIC accountant believes legal system frustrations may be partrly responsible for why the Bahamas does not have a high rate of fraud convictions, telling Tribune Business this may cause many to drop prosecution.

Speaking at Friday's session of the Bahamas Institute of Chartered Accountants' (BICA) annual accountants week, John Bain, managing partner of John S Bain chartered forensic accountants, told Tribune Business: "We don't have a high rate of fraud convictions.
