CARS TARGETED AT AIRPORT

A CAR vandalism and theft campaign has been in the works for months at Sir Lynden Pindling International Airport.

Speaking with The Tribune yesterday Bahamas Public Service Union (BPSU) President John Pinder said there are multiple issues at LPIA that need to be addressed, including car vandalism and pay back that has been denied to employees.

Similar to the recent car thefts experienced at the Department of Immigration on Hawkins Hill, airport staff have reported that more than a dozen cars have been vandalized and some six stolen from LPIA's parking lots over the last two months, according to Mr Pinder.
