Sailing

The challenge has been issued... and it has been accepted. Continuing a year-long battle, Eleazor Barber J Johnson and his Campari Lady Nathalie have issued a challenge to Delsworth Gibson and the Barbarian for a sail off at Montagu Bay. Gibson has accepted, and preliminary plans have the race set for Thanksgiving week at Montagu Bay. It will be a two-sloop race with a Winner Take All format. Both sloop owners are excited and are preparing their boats for competition.

Swimming

Swift Swimming will stage its annual 3K Open Water Swim Race on Saturday October 29, starting at 10:00 a.m. at Old Fort Bay. The public and all swim clubs are invited. Forms are available on line at www.swimswift.com.
