Nassau Music Society will begin its

2011-2012 Season on

Friday,
October 21, 2011. Sir Arthur Foulkes, Governor General of the
Commonwealth of The Bahamas has once again accepted to be the Patron of
the Society's Season.

In his Message to the Nassau Music
Society, Sir Arthur states that  the "Society has, for at least one
generation now, continually supported music students and aspiring
artists in The Bahamas. The quality of the artists that they bring to
our shores to perform classical and jazz concerts yearly is a secret to
