THE Bahamas Telecommunications Company (BTC) yesterday pledged to review its "entire suite of commercial products" by the New Year, adding that it had already "substantially impacted the cost of doing business" by removing the cellular inter-island toll.

Marlon Johnson, BTC's spokesperson, said companies in both New Providence and the Family Island had both informed the newly-privatised carrier, and himself personally, that eliminating the inter-island call toll for cell phones had enabled them to "start saving quite a bit of money".
