'Ninety' Knowles' convictions and sentences upheld

A US appeals court has upheld the convictions and sentences of drug kingpin Samuel "Ninety" Knowles.

Knowles was jailed for 35 years in May 2008 on federal drug trafficking charges. He will ultimately serve 25 years and is scheduled to be released at the age of 75.
