The Ministry of Public Works and Transport continues to make progress on road corridors that make up the New Providence Road Improvement and Infrastructure Project. The Ministry announced Wednesday that final underground work is taking place on Robinson Road.

"With the extension of works on Robinson Road from Second Street to First Street, the contractor has reached the limit of works," said Shenique Albury, environmental specialist in the Project Execution Unit. As a result of the extension of the working area on Robinson Road from Second to First Street there is a closure from Seventh to First Streets.

Motorists are advised to use Palm Tree Avenue. Roberta Drive is also closed. Motorists can access Robinson Road through Sixth Street near Ridgeland Bakery.
