NASSAU, BAHAMAS — Commonwealth Brewery Limited (CBL) has chosen two lucky winners to receive coveted VIP tickets to the 2024 Coachella Music Festival.

In February, the Heineken team launched an island-wide enter-to-win competition. To enter to win the grand prize, consumers simply had to purchase a 6-pack of any Heineken product from participating stores, and their receipt would be entered for an upcoming drawing.

Markita Stubbs, Heineken Brand Manager for Commonwealth Brewery Limited (CBL) shared why this competition was so important to bring to local consumers.

"Last year, when we launched Heineken Silver and took over the Carnival Concert experience, we were so excited to begin transforming the way our Bahamian consumers experienced concerts locally. This year we decided to take it up a notch and send some of our consumers to attend one of the most epic music festival experiences that has ever existed," she remarked.

On April 19, the lucky winners, Sonya Green and Khouri Forbes, will be whisked away to Los Angeles alongside a plus one of their choosing to bask in an all-expense paid trip to the annual Coachella Music Festival hosted in the Colorado desert valley. At the 3-day festival, they will enjoy access to over 5 concert stages where artists like Doja Cat, Coi Leray, and Tems will perform as part of an incredible lineup of non-stop music performances. They will also have access to the coveted Heineken House, where legendary artists T-Pain and Lupe Fiasco will perform in an immersive pop-up venue created to provide attendees with an avant-garde viewing experience, all whilst enjoying Heineken Silver.

When asked how she felt about winning, Sonya Green explained, "When I got the call, I thought I was being pranked! Once I realized that I wasn't, I was elated to know that I would be receiving such a trip, and I know that this is going to be an amazing experience."

Khouri Forbes added, "I'm excited to visit somewhere different and I'm hoping to meet some celebrities along the way."

Those interested in living vicariously through the winners as they journey to Coachella can follow the Heineken Bahamas' social media pages to see the action in real-time. Commonwealth Brewery Limited (CBL) and the Heineken team expressed that they hope to take a new set of winners to the next Coachella festival in the spring of 2025.
