O.J. Simpson, one of the most infamous high-profile Americans of all time has died after a battle with cancer.

The former NFL player who stood trial for the double-murder of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ron Goldman, in the '90s, only to be acquitted, passed away Wednesday in Las Vegas according to his family.
