Colina Insurance Supports 5th Annual Cancer Society of The Bahamas Golf Tournament

Colina Insurance supported the Cancer Society of The Bahamas’s Golf Tournament for another consecutive year as the Presenting Sponsor. The highly anticipated event brought together avid golfers, sponsors, and supporters in an effort to raise funds for expansion of the Cancer Caring Centre.

“Offering accommodations at no cost to persons diagnosed with cancer from the Family Islands has made a huge difference in so many lives; alleviating their financial strain of living expenses, not having to worry about transportation to and from their treatment or doctor’s appointments and the peace of mind to have a quiet room of their own,” said Katherine Elza, Co-Chair, Cancer Society of The Bahamas’ Annual Charity Golf Tournament.

Colina’s Presenting sponsorship is directly aligned with the Company’s commitment to health and wellness. The Company serves as a corporate steward and believes in contributing to the well-being of the community and elevating the quality of life across The Bahamas.

The golf tournament, which took place on January 10 at the Royal Blue Golf Course, Baha Mar Resort, featured a day of friendly competition as participants ultimately supported the cause. Two teams represented Colina at the event.
