USA – Apple once again facing a ban on selling two smartwatch models in the U.S. amid ongoing patent dispute.
A U.S. appeals court reversed the tech giant’s earlier permission to sell series 9 and ultra 2 watches, impacting imports.
Apple says it plans to release watches without the contested blood oxygen feature to keep them available. The dispute with medical tech company Masimo Centers on patent violations and staff poaching.
The U.S. International Trade Commission previously ruled in favor of Masimo, leading to the ban on imports and sales. Apple, disagreeing with the ruling, is now complying while expressing strong disagreement.
