NASSAU, BAHAMAS- A male believed to be in his 40s was shot dead in the front of his home on Martin's Close, off Cowpen Road, sometime after 6:00pm on Friday, according to Officer in Charge of Homicide Investigations Superintendent Jahmal Evans

Evans says that based on preliminary investigations the victim was reportedly pulled into his yard when two males approached the victim and opened fire on him.

Authorities says Emergency Medical Services were summoned and pronounced the man dead.

Police investigations continue into this matter.
