NASSAU, BAHAMAS — The Windermere Group is celebrating two decades of success in global wealth management.

Announcing its 20th Anniversary celebration, co-founder and CEO John Lawrence said: "From the outset, the idea behind The Windermere Group was to create a Bahamian entity that could compete for top-tier clients with any of the well-established financial services firms."

For John, the dedication and commitment of the Windermere team was key in propelling the company to gaining the status of a leading financial and corporate services provider, achieving numerous milestones and overcoming significant challenges along the way. Windermere is also now licensed by The Central Bank of The Bahamas to provide Private Trust Company services and recently started a Yacht Services Company.
"Success in the financial services industry is about integrity, dedication, dynamism, and the ability to adapt to ever-changing circumstances and conditions," John said. John has served as a board member of the Bahamas Financial Services Board and on the boards of numerous companies, including international banks, trust companies, and insurance companies. He was named "Executive of The Year" at the Bahamas Financial Services Industry Excellence Awards, recognizing his "Outstanding Contribution to The Bahamas Financial Services Industry" and most recently recognized in 2022 by the STEP Bahamas Chapter with the naming of the "John Lawrence Trailblazer Award" in his honor.
