NASSAU, BAHAMAS — Nearly 100 individuals participated in the recent "Rebirth" baptismal event held by Bahamas Harvest Church on November 26, 2023.

The "Rebirth" baptismal experience, crafted by Bahamas Harvest Church, represents a profound step in the spiritual journey of those involved. It underlines the church's commitment to fulfilling the Great Commission, as outlined in the Scriptures.

Pastor Mario Moxey expressed his joy, stating: "Baptism is a powerful symbol of faith and a commitment to live in accordance with God's word. Witnessing individuals, including couples, take this step toward spiritual renewal is inspiring. 'Rebirth' is a lifelong transformation of growth and dedication to a higher purpose."

A significant aspect of this event was the inclusion of married couples in the "Couples Rebirth" initiative, symbolizing newness and rededication within marriage and reflecting the church's dedication to fostering strong relationships.

The "Couples Rebirth" initiative highlights the church's dedication to supporting and strengthening families within the community. Stemming from the church's marriage series, it provides a platform for couples to declare their commitment to each other and to God, aiming to foster healthier relationships.

Keisha Taylor, the director of the church's Assimilation System, emphasized the uniqueness of the Rebirth experience.

"This outward symbol of commitment by our couples speaks volumes. It signifies that they welcome God into their lives and marriage. Individuals who were water baptized boldly stepped out in faith, a blessing to see them be obedient to Christ's command," Taylor said."

Bahamas Harvest Church conducted a total of three Rebirths this year, baptizing 152 people.

Taylor referred to the latest Rebirth as a gift from God, stating: "God has seen our works, and allowing such a symbolic event to take place is a blessing."
