The Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre (CCCCC), in collaboration with the Caribbean Broadcasting Union (CBU) and the European Union (EU), presented a  climate change workshop and tour for local media and communications personnel aimed at enhancing their skills in 'Communicating Climate Change.' 

The workshop took place October 26 and 27, 2023 at SuperClubs Breezes.  Mr. Steve Maximay of CBU and Ms. Tecla Fontenard of CCCCC conducted training on the first day, and provided a Meteorology Department Weather Station Tour on the second day.  Office of the Prime Minister's Climate Change and Environmental Advisory Unit gave a presentation during the workshop.  Meteorology Department Actg. Director Jeffrey Simmons conducted a tour of the weather station, near the Sports Centre.
