AML Foods Limited launched its 8th annual “Feed 5000” Holiday Feeding Program with an initial injection of $20,000. The company is once again seeking to provide holiday meals to thousands of Bahamian families in need for Christmas.

From November 6th to December 16th, 2023, they are inviting their team members, corporate Bahamas, and customers to support the program by purchasing or donating towards the purchase of a Christmas Meal Package. My Solomon’s Smart Rewards Members can also donate their loyalty points.

Each package is valued at $50, and donations can be made at the register in any Solomon’s, Solomon’s Fresh Market, Cost Right, Exuma Markets or Domino’s location in New Providence, Grand Bahama, or George Town Exuma. Donations can also be made online at www.dominos242.com.

As in previous years, AML Foods Limited has partnered with the Bahamas Feeding Network, The Grand Bahama branch of the Red Cross and the One Exuma Foundation to facilitate the distribution of all proceeds raised. These organizations continue to lead the way in making a difference in the fight against hunger.

Renea Bastian, VP of Marketing & Communications, said, “AML remains steadfast in our commitment to helping those experiencing food insecurity in our country. We recognize the profound significance this program holds for numerous families and its positive impact on the community, so we look forward to having it every year. To date through our donations as well as support from our customers and corporate Bahamas, the program has successfully raised and distributed more than half a million dollars in food vouchers feeding more than 70,000 Bahamians. We are grateful to all who have donated in the past and hope to receive your support again this year”.

Organizations, civic groups, or private citizens wanting to support the Feed 5000 program and help to make the holidays a little brighter for Bahamian families in need, can purchase a fifty - dollar package, or donate toward a package, in store at the registers or contact the Corporate Office of AML Foods Limited.
