Man Shot Dead While Sitting In Jeep On Malcolm Road

Nassau, Bahamas – Police say a man was shot dead on Malcolm Road east sometime after 2:00 am Wednesday.

Head of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Chief Supt. Michael Johnson says police were alerted of a shooting incident on Malcolm Road early Wednesday morning and responded.

Upon arrival on scene officers met a male, believed to be in his 20's, suffering from gunshot wounds about the body, according to police.

Emergency Medical Services (EMS) were summoned and after checking the man's vitals it was confirmed that he had no signs of life and was pronounced dead on scene.

Chief Supt. Johnson has issued a public appeal to residents in the area that can assist police with solving this crime; to contact authorities at Crime Stoppers at 328-TIPS.
