Minister for Grand Bahama, the Hon. Ginger Moxey, on Friday, October 13, 2023 paid last respects to the late Obadiah Wilchcombe, Member of Parliament for West Grand Bahama and Bimini.  Minister Wilchcombe also held the Ministerial posts of Minister of Social Services, Information and Broadcasting. His State Funeral was held on Thursday in Nassau with his body being flown to Grand Bahama on Friday morning.

Minister Wilchcombe passed away in Grand Bahama on September 25.

There will be a Memorial Service at Bishop Michael Eldon Auditorium on Friday evening and another funeral service will be held on Saturday morning at Christ the King. This will be followed by a motorcade to West Grand Bahama for his burial in the West End Public Cemetery.
