NASSAU, BAHAMAS — Tito's Vodka and its distributor, Jimmy's Wines & Spirits, recently stepped forward to make a significant contribution to the welfare of animals in New Providence. The vodka brand, which has previously donated to community causes, including hurricane relief and food security, reprised its role as a supporter of the vital work being done by the Bahamas Humane Society.

"At Tito's Handmade Vodka, we've been dog people for over twenty-five years. Not only do we pride ourselves on making great vodka, but we're strongly committed to supporting animal well-being - and other important philanthropic causes - in communities throughout the world," says John McDonnell, Managing Director, International, at Tito's Handmade Vodka.

"Through our Vodka for Dog People program, we're honored to help support the Bahamas Humane Society and the impactful work they do to better the lives of pets and animals across the Bahamian Islands."

For more than a decade, the Bahamas Humane Society has protected, advocated for, and educated the broader public on the rights of animals. The organization's work runs the gamut, from rescuing and caring for animals in need to arranging adoptions for abandoned pets both locally and abroad.

"We are so pleased that Tito's has partnered with us once again," explained Shelter Manager Percy Grant. "We depend heavily on donations like these, and so we are grateful to our corporate partners whose efforts make our work possible," he said.

According to a press release from Jimmy's, this recent act of philanthropy "not only underscores the dedication of Tito's Handmade Vodka to making a positive impact but also demonstrates the brand's recognition of the importance of animal welfare in local communities."

The cheque valued at two thousand five hundred dollars was presented during a special ceremony at the organization's Nassau headquarters and will go toward the continued maintenance of the society's no-kill shelter as well as its countless other programs.

According to Conrad King, a Jimmy's Wines & Spirits representative, the brand is looking to finish the year strong, recommitting itself to forging new partnerships and maintaining relationships with local NGOs now and into the future.
